Godrej Aqua just off International Airport Road, a few minutes from International Airport in North Bangalore. Not just a place of brick and stone, but a home for something the city really needs right about now water security. Because any lasting change always begins at home. Godrej Aqua never intended to build just a home, but a foundation that will revolutionise the way water is used in Bangalore. It lay a foundation that’s supported by four solid principles – Recharge, Reduce, Recycle and Water Quality. Thereby ensuring that the vision of water sufficiency in every home is a reality that’s well within reach. Reduce– 1. Water used in every home is closely monitored
2. Aerated water controls the flow through taps without affecting the water pressure to reduce water wastage while in use
3.79% water is sourced internally during non-rainy days through treatment processes.
Reuse– 1.On non-rainy days 166 kl of 308 kl of water used daily is reused in the kitchen and with in the home
2.On Rainy Days 220 kl of 308 kl of water used daily is reused in the kitchen and within the home
3.On a daily basis 84 kl of black water is treated out of which 68 kl is reused for domestic purposes
like flushing within the home
Recharge- The water left over after purification is sent over to the rejuvenation pit.
Water Quality- 166 to 220 kl of water used daily is recovered after passing through the Advanced WaterTreatment Plant.
2. At least 3 litres of pure drinking water is supplied per person on a daily basis, making
it 15 litres for a family.
